Twin Frozr II: Advanced Cooling System
For heat dissipation, the MSI R5830 Twin Frozr II graphics card uses the advanced Twin Frozr II thermal design. In addition to a dual 8CM fan configuration, the 4 internal heat-pipes allows for improved cooling performance compared to common consumer-grade heat-sinks and is capable of lowering temperatures by nearly 20%. With PWM fan speed control, noise can also be reduced to a correspondingly optimum level, making this powerful thermal module quiet and effective.
Afterburner Overclocking Utility Further Evolved
Apart from the greatly improved thermal design, the R5830 Twin Frozr II graphics card comes with support for MSI’s exclusive Afterburner overclocking software. Added to the original overvoltage capability, GPU & memory clock adjustment, the new Kombustor tool provides the powerful functionality required by die-hard gamers to push their GPU to the limit and test stability. Users are able to overvolt the GPU voltage up to 1.35v to unleash the cards full performance.
